What’s the difference between a mini session and a full session?
Mini sessions are shorter (usually 20 to 30 minutes), include one outfit and one location, and deliver fewer final images. They’re great for quick updates or seasonal photos. Full sessions allow more time, outfit changes, and a wider variety of shots.
How many photos will I receive?
Family Sessions
Every family is different, some are high-energy and full of movement, others are more relaxed and intimate. I focus on capturing the moments that matter most rather than meeting a shot count. After our session, you'll receive a curated proofing gallery to view and choose the images you love. From there, I professionally edit the selected images so you get the best of your story, not just the most.
Portraits and Headshots
My goal is to deliver clean, confident images that reflect your personality and purpose, not a random number of shots. After your session, you’ll receive a proofing gallery with a variety of poses and expressions to choose from. I’ll then edit the images you select to ensure they’re polished and purposeful.
Event Photography
Events can vary widely, from small backyard gatherings to large venues with packed schedules. I don’t limit the number of images, but I do prioritize quality over quantity. After the event, you’ll receive a gallery of thoughtfully edited highlights that capture the energy, emotion, and key moments of the day. I aim to tell a complete story without overwhelming you with duplicates or filler shots.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions are typically held outdoors, in your home, or at a location we plan together. For professional headshots or team portraits, I’m happy to come to your office or workspace.
What should we wear?
This is totally up to you and at your discretion; however, I recommend choosing colors and outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable. Feel free to bring a second outfit if your paid session allows. I’ll help guide you on what works best for the setting and tone.
Do you require a retainer/deposit?
No, instead of a deposit/retainer, we charge a booking fee up to 50% of the final price.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
Life happens. If you need to reschedule, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Retainers are nonrefundable but can be transferred to a new date with appropriate notice.
When will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive your proofing gallery within two weeks. Final edited images will be delivered shortly after you’ve made your selections.
Will my photos be edited?
Yes, all final images include light editing such as exposure, color correction, and cropping. I do not offer heavy retouching, but I aim to deliver clean, natural, and polished photos.
Can I print or share my photos?
Yes! You’ll receive high-resolution images for personal use, which you’re welcome to share on social media or print for your home. For convenience, professional-quality prints and products can be purchased directly through the Store button in your gallery. If you plan to use your photos commercially, just let me know ahead of time so we can discuss the proper licensing.
